Assist the Goal was started by Coach Mott, director of LKN Outlaws lacrosse, in 2012 to expand the game of lacrosse to all youth in our local community. Our goal is to support youth lacrosse players in the Lake Norman area by providing financial assistance to those wanting to learn lacrosse and those wishing to continue playing the game they love. Getting sticks in the hands of our youth is our #1 priority. Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing youth sports in the US and ATG's fundraising events support our commitment to growing the game in our local Lake Norman community. By partnering with our local towns, schools, and business partners we continue to build awareness of the sport. ATG works not only to support our youth by providing financial assistance to play the game, but also by hosting after school clinics and free clinics; raising funds to build/improve local facilities; partnering with local businesses with a shared mission to raise awareness and support continued growth. So please join us for our first ever fundraising event, an adult only Casino Night on September 16th at 7p and show your support for Assist the Goal!! Bring your friends, your family, your neighbors, to learn more about our LKN lacrosse community and show your support for Assist the Goal's commitment to growing youth supports in our community. With casino games, food trucks, auction items and so much more, it promises to be a great night. Assist the Goal is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
