Message from Owner: Rico is a bit shy, but if he sees a person, especially if they are eating he may try to land on your shoulder. He loves to eat almost anything if you say "hmm, good" or "Rico wanna treat" he loves taking baths and I'm sure he is looking for water. So if you have a bird bath, or grow vegetables or fruit in your yard pls be on the lookout. If you spot him food will almost certainly entice him, or say "Rico hello" generally he will squawk back. Tell him "disco Rico" while moving your head side to side to side and he will dance. He will be frightened of sticks ect. in your hand but if he hovers over and you steadily reach out your hand for him to land. I promise he won't hurt you, he might test you a bit to see if he scares you, when he senses fear he might tease or pinch lightly never will draw blood though. I have raised him since he was only 5 weeks old, weaned him myself, he also likes to hide in anything he could fit under. Sometimes even plays peekaboo. I will gladly pay for his safe return. Any info even if you may be unsure is greatly appreciated. My biggest fear is that if someone hasn't taken him in by now, this heat could be too much for him unless he has found water. He most active at dawn and dusk. As soon as it gets dark outside he will find dark place to roost until early next morning.
