Description
We are so honored to offer an opportunity to join in community and allow you a chance to receive some love, healing and connection within. We have three lovely humans offering their gifts for you to receive this evening: Leah Amundson is an incredible facilitator who is joining us all the way from Greenville, SC and will be guiding the group through a gentle restorative yoga sequence. We will be moving our bodies into various shapes connecting breath to movement, allowing us to drop further into ourselves. Sara Garnier is also a local facilitator and bodyworker who will be offering her embodied voice and music as alchemy throughout our evening experience. Lacey Cline is our third local facilitator and she will be guiding our group into a soothing meditative state as well as offering Reiki to the group and sound healing along with Sara. Items to bring: Yoga Mat1-2 pillows to use as propsa blanket or a bath towel (to also use as a prop or for extra coziness)Water bottleMeet the Facilitators: Meet Leah: Hello everyone! I am so genuinely grateful that you have sought care for yourself and chose to learn how to get re-connected to your own ecosystem in this overstimulating world we live in. Lacey, Sara, and I are honored to facilitate this juicy, healing experience for you and with you. Who am I - you might ask? I’m just a small town girl [(cue “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey, please) Extra points if you actually did].. But in all seriousness: My name is Leah - I am a recovering perfectionist and people pleaser. I’m currently a Greenville, SC transplant but will always be a Minneapolis native at heart. I spent my formative years in a small town in, the heart of, Minnesota and moved to the Twin Cities in 2010 to pursue my professional journey in esthetics and massage therapy. Leaving my tiny town and leaping into the wellness world has allowed me to grow exponentially as a human being but also as a bodyworker. About 3 years ago I decided to take a chance and move to the southeast coast: (a) to do something that scared the $h!+ out of me and (b) to prove to myself that I could do this incredibly hard thing. Although I am currently resting my body after being attached to my massage table, full-time, for 10 years - this work has led me back to my passion for education. I now work with cosmetology trade school students and cosmetology schools to heal their mindsets and develop the tools to sustain themselves while achieving their goals in such a fast-paced, competitive, and physically demanding industry. When I’m not working with others; you can find my introverted ass focusing on recharging my batteries through quality time with my loved ones exercising, traveling, reading, comedy, cooking, snuggling my sweet fur babies, and Netflixing and chilling. In my own post-pandemic healing process - I’ve finally embraced my “weird” to let go of the shame and pressure to keep up with social norms. I’ve poured my focus into honoring my needs so I can continue to show up powerfully for others. And I’ve, at last, accepted and developed so much admiration for REST and the occasional binge of terrible sitcoms and reality TV. Maybe someday, I’ll feel like the “Kardashians” and “Two Broke Girls” are harming me spiritually but for the time being, I’m definitely team Kim K and Pete Davidson. I have been fortunate enough to be intertwined in the ever-vast healing and self-care world for the last 12 years. Professionally, my purpose is to facilitate a deeper connection to oneself through hands-on healing (massage therapy), emotional intelligence education, and movement (power yoga, HIIT workouts, and yin yoga). I believe true healing is ignited within - sometimes we simply need the support of another being to create the space for you to safely begin your mending process. Community is also one of my deepest core values; sometimes one person doesn’t always satiate each of our needs so I’ve spent years arming my network with a soulful army of powerful practitioners and healers to stand behind you! My forever goal is for you to develop the tools and the support network you need so you no longer need to operate your well-being all alone. Let us go to battle for you so you can experience the peace that your body, mind, and spirit have been looking for. xoxo, Leah Meet Sara: Sara wears many hats as she moves throughout her days- Craniosacral practitioner, somatic movement educator, embodiment coach, and birth doula. The role of facilitator chose her in 2003 and she has been deepening her skills since, adding the tools she finds most helpful to her offerings and to her life. Sara is excited and honored to be offering her silence, stillness, embodied voice and music as alchemy. To find out more, visit www.SaraGarnier.com Meet Lacey: I was intuitively called to Acupuncture and Alternative Healing many years ago due to a longstanding personal history of gynecological imbalances, chronic pain and digestive concerns. I found deep healing within these modalities and felt a strong calling through my experience to help support others going through similar challenges. I believe very strongly that our bodies have the ability to self-heal and regenerate. I am honored to hold the space for your healing experience and facilitate the shifts needed to create lasting change and deep transformational re-birth. I am more than just an Acupuncturist. I am a seeker, a teacher and a forever student of life. I have always been a “highly sensitive” Soul ever since I was a child. I now know that this “sensitivity” is my gift to the world as I have stepped more fully into my gifts as an Intuitive Lightworker. I have dedicated my life to walking this path in service to the Collective. Everything that I do is with Intention and Unconditional Love. Teaching Reiki and Crystal Healing is also one of my deepest passions. Nothing lights me up more than watching others step into their innate gifts and wisdom within. I am also currently immersed in a deep-dive study of Human Design and look forward to weaving this into my practice and my teachings in the near future. I am honored to be guiding you all in a supportive anchoring practice this evening and wrapping you in the Divine Love of Reiki. My goal with this event is to help those attending experience a deeper connection to Self, Soul and Community. https://www.sacredvibehealing.com/ Monetary exchange: We understand that these past couple of years have been exceptionally challenging for some more than others.
