Sept. 17 at 9 AM in the Family Room. Guest speaker is Heather McCaskill, Executive Director, One by One Ministries. This event is being held specifically to support the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ program called “Walking with Moms in Need”, a process through which Catholic parishes and communities "walk in the shoes" of local pregnant and parenting women in need. Their website is located at: https://www.walkingwithmoms.com/ Here in our community, One by One Ministries is a mentoring ministry to new and expectant mothers and is designed to encourage, educate and share the love of Jesus Christ. One by One mentors are trained and equipped to mentor pregnant and brand-new Moms at a critical time in their lives. Their website is located at https://www.onebyoneusa.org. They offer a lifeline of support by offering these three goals: 1. To reach out in love and support and encourage a new Mom to assure her that she is not alone. 2. To equip moms to be the very best parent they can be. They provide educational materials that include parenting skills and child development. 3. To share the love and hope of Jesus Christ and to let a new Mom know that God loves her and has a plan for her and her baby. Sponsored by the Respect Life Committee, Holy Rosary Church.
