I am trying to help my friend rebuild his home in Shepherdstown WV which was destroyed by a house fire. He is a veteran who was permanently disabled from the military when serving multiple tours in Iraq in the early 2000s where he sustained injuries that destroyed 60% of his lungs and had to have his left shoulder, hip and knee replaced. We will be painting an acrylic of fireworks over a city on a river. Instructions will be provided so that even a novice painter can do it! Cost is $35 per person. Snacks will be available for a donation. 100% of the fees and donations go to the Welch family to help them rebuild! Painting will start at 5:30 pm in the Community Room at Belk in the Hagerstown Valley Mall. Please try to arrive by 5:15 to get set up in time to start at 5:30. Payment (cash or check) at the door is fine. We should be done by 7:30. It's going to be a FUN way of helping this family!
