Please do not contact me until you have read this in full.
This is Roxy. She was previously an indoor/outdoor cat, and with me she's been strictly indoor by choice.
She's comfortable around her owners, but when strangers are around she will run and hide. She hid from my boyfriend and I the first month we had her, only coming out at night to cuddle. Now she's up and about all the time.
She's a big cuddle bug. Almost anytime you lie down or sit down she will come to lie on you. She will sleep with you as well if you want her to.
She hardly ever plays.
If you bring a new animal into the house she will want her personal space, but warms up within a couple weeks.
She enjoys looking out windows and scratching, so if she will be indoor with you, I highly recommend getting her a cat tower she can scratch on, otherwise she will use anything around for her scratching.
She's previously had kittens and she's overweight for unknown reasons, I don't feed her much.
She's also quite talkative. If she wants anything from you, food or attention, she will meow at you until you do it. She will also meow in passing if you walk by or say hi to her.
Once she's comfortable with you, emphasis on once she's comfortable with you, she's quite tolerant of any shenanigans you do with her. Paw playing, belly rubbing, picking her up, hugging her or just messing with her she will not bite or scratch unless you severely piss her off, she gives plenty warning.
The only reason I'm rehoming her is because I can't afford my apartment anymore and I can't take her with me.
