Description
Band in progress needs to fill out a couple of pieces. We have singer (female), 2nd guitar/keys (me), drummer (male) - all of us in the late 30s to late 40s range. We thought we were close to gigging, but are struggling to find the missing pieces.
We are into an eclectic mix of rock, pop/wave and punk. Anything from the 80s to today. We play a mix of well known tunes as well as a few lesser knowns. We are NOT aiming to be yet another Top 40 cover band that plays that same old set of songs you hear every other boring band play. Of course we play songs people can sing along to, but we prefer songs, at least some, that aren't the typical ones. We're very open minded and democratic about the set list. We have a large selection that that 3 of us know, but we're always willing to add more that you bring to the mix.
Needed: Bass & Lead Guitar. We don't need shredders - just cool, open minded, available, solid musicians who want to get out and gig as much as we do.
I (2nd guitar) sing harmonies (we do a lot of this) and can hold down rhythm and some keys. Drummer and singer are badasses.
Examples of artists we cover:
Pretenders, Volbeat, Jimmy Eat World, Berlin, Pink, Nena, Foo Fighters, Joan Jett, the Killers, the Cars plus many others. It's mostly upbeat, high energy.
We're cool people. Easy going, but focused. Let me know if you want to chat.
