Press release from the City of Huntsville: July 27, 2022 The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is assisting with road closures in downtown Huntsville near the Von Braun Center on Friday, July 29. Monroe Street between Clinton Ave. and Williams Ave. will be closed to north and southbound traffic from 5 – 8 p.m. to accommodate heavy pedestrian traffic for an event at the Propst Arena.
