We are a small construction company looking for a Installer for a project in a hotel in Portland, Oregon. Our ideal candidate is a team player and strong leader and worker that understands how to manage work sites to meet the needs of the company. As an installer, you will be responsible and manage all aspects of the job site for the project and the direction of the team. This includes creating a positive team environment, implementing best practices and innovations. This job is available immediately. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a hard worker Must have experience in construction Must have experience with general contractors Minimum of 3 years of installing experience. (You will be Installing bathroom fixtures over tile) Ability to read drawings, work plans, and blueprints Abide by safety protocol and values safety Ability to communicate and report effectively Close attention to detail. Problem-solving abilities Excellent organizational and leadership skills Good physical condition and stamina Mature, trustworthy, and dependable Possess a valid Driver’s License and good driving record Must have reliable transportation to the jobsite. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to): Manage hotel renovation projects. Work on project from start to closeout and when needed. Prioritize and coordinate tasks and identify problems or potential problems, as they relate to the organization of the job. Inspect all work completed, taking appropriate corrective standards and calling for required actions by appropriate authorities at the required stages. Plan most efficient route for moving of material safely and effectively without damage. Supervise and train workers.
