Battle of the Chefs is a friendly competition and lush tasting event curated to elevate local chefs from Milwaukee's evolving culinary scene, while supporting local youth culinary & hospitality programs. We're excited to partner with Teens Grow Greens! A portion of the tickets and 100% of the silent auction proceeds will be donated to their organization. Teens Grow Greens is raising money for select Graduates of the TGG internship to pursue a career path in Hospitality through their Apprenticeship program. The Food & Beverage Hospitality Apprenticeship Track is designed to provide Apprentices with an introduction to skills and knowledge necessary for working as a team member in restaurant operations--through hands-on experience in various community cafes. Help us as we build pathways to careers in the field of food and hospitality! Chef and judge announcements coming soon! Our judges will determine a winner for each category, and a crowd favorite will also be awarded. VIP Tasting Experience in partnership with Woodford Reserve! Vegan/veggie options will be available. This is an indoor event with outside access (weather permitting). COVID-19 precautions will be enforced. Cocktail attire suggested. Full cash bar available! Early arrival strongly encouraged.
