This multicultural platform aims at celebrating humanity, defuse hate and foster peace through a showcase of cultures,customs,fashion,dance, music and beauty representing the Afrocentric world. The Star Awards ceremony, in honor of professionals,who have served their communities for 30+ years is part of this popular event. In addition,issues plaguing our community are addressed at each event; i.e. domestic violence in 2016,mental health in 2017, breast cancer in 2018 and heart & cardiovascular in 2019.
