We focus on late pregnancy, labor, comfort measures, pain management, delivery, partner support and the immediate postpartum period. This class is detailed and is designed to explore your birth options in our area and learn what to expect as you go through the birth process. Focus includes: Phases and stages of labor, your estimated due date and end of pregnancy concerns, coping techniques for you and your partner, pain management options, alternative pain relieving techniques, positions for both comfort and encouraging labor, common interventions and medical procedures, reducing common risks, and so much more. Taught by Becky Rohrback with Maryland Birth Services, LLC, this 4-hr class will have you feeling ready, informed and excited. Becky is a very busy certified Doula of 12 years, in the Greater-Baltimore area. She frequents all hospitals, centers and home-births in Maryland and provides great detail on pregnancy and birth in our unique area. Come ready to learn and laugh- she provides both! An information-packed workbook is included for continued learning. This class includes a FREE ticket to a Yoga of your choice from Indigo! Extra Details: Parking is free and right next to the building! We will begin promptly at 10am so that we can finish on time at 2pm. We will take a bathroom/stretch break mid-way.
