Learning effective prevention strategies is an essential part of working in the prevention field. This webinar will define what prevention is as well as give examples of ineffective vs. effective strategies.
This webinar will focus on ineffective and effective prevention strategies. Attendees will define prevention, prevention populations, ineffective prevention practices, prevention science and theories, as well as the Strategic Prevention Framework. Most importantly, attendees will learn how to turn ineffective prevention strategies into effective ones.
Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will be able to define prevention populations.
2. Participants will be able to identify ineffective prevention practices and articulate why the practices are ineffective.
3. Participants will be able to turn ineffective prevention strategies into effective ones.
