Are you a professional in the community that works with parents/caregivers and children? Join Andrea Ostroy, Nurturing Parenting Program Trainer, for a 2 day workshop to explore the Nurturing Parenting Program. Topics include: understanding parent and child brain development, learning to respond with empathy, providing choices, power dynamics, healthy connection and communication, family values and culture, parenting patterns and creating strategies for a calmer home environment. This workshop will increase our parenting knowledge and skills and also provide us with meaningful ways to bring what is learned into our daily practice. The class is 2 days - Tuesday, October 18 and Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 9 am to 4 pm.  Please plan to attend both days to receive a certificate of completion. Lunch and light snacks will be provided This training is being offered at no cost through a collaboration with Sister Carmen Community Center and Boulder County Housing and Human Services
