Join the Akron Beacon Journal, The City of Akron, Akron Urban League, NAACP, Freedom Bloc, Big Love Network, African Rites of Passage and Pastor Robert DeJournett for the Innerbelt Reunion. This will be an opportunity for the community to come together to remember life before the building of the Innerbelt highway, to heal and to seek resolution moving forward. There will be an opportunity to share memories, remember homes and businesses and to provide an overall atmosphere of family. The ultimate goal of the Innerbelt Reunion is to take a strategic look at how the City of Akron and the Innerbelt community can collaborate on creating a sustainable project for TOMORROW.
