Ferragosto is a public holiday celebrated on the 15th of August in all of Italy. It originates from Feriae Augusti, the festival of emperor Augustus, who made the 1st of August a day of rest after weeks of hard work on the agricultural sector. We could not think of a better way to celebrate Ferragosto by showcasing some of our incredible Italian Wine and Spirits in our portfolio. In true spirit of this holiday we will be offering the tasting on the beach with live entertainment, snacks, games and giveaways. In the spirit of Mediterranean style we encourage you to come dressed in your best retro Riviera attire: Linen, yes! Sunhats, you bet! Whatever inspires you of living that Dolce Vita. Music, Sand, Sea, beautiful wines and delicious cocktails on a Monday in summer: postcard worthy. As a reminder, this is a trade and media tasting only… We will be featuring: Bubbles & Spirits from Zardetto, Lini 910, and Nardini Tuscan Wines from Castello di Bossi and Collemassari Island Wines from Argiolas, Gai’a, and our newest Sicilian producer Cantine Nicosia (Tasting book and pricing will be provided at check in) Can’t wait to see you there!
