Description

Everyone seems to be talking about culture, but almost everyone is talking about the “what,” not the “how.” It’s one thing to know what you want your company environment to be like, or that “diversity” matters to you, or that you want your team to feel valued, but it’s another thing to plot a course to actually get there. Working on organizational culture means understanding culture as an accelerant and catalyst, rather than simply as a product or end-goal. Our mission is to build a framework of an evolving, dynamic culture that not only accepts every person, but also allows for and encourages every single person to get better, all the time. Everyone gets to belong, and everyone gets to be launched. Framework: We’ll be exploring culture in general, moving from seeing it as a product to a process. We’ll also be discussing culture specifically, using a model called Accelerant Culture, which is focused on asking questions and casting vision across multiple themes. We’ll be covering the 4 main moving parts of Accelerant Culture, as well as exploring what happens when we consistently offer team members a way to be and do. Parts and Pieces: Across the workshop participants will have the chance to engage in thinking around bias, inclusion, collaboration, feedback, and psychological safety, amongst other topics. We’ll “nest” these topics into 4 thematic parts: Consistent Enrollment • This is all about figuring out who we are, what our “why” is, and how that informs how we show up every day. Continuing Education • This is all about operating at the front edges of our learning, growth, and development, and seeing what it takes to stay there. Collaborative Engagement • This is all about moving from win/lose constructions of decision-making and collaboration to win/win scenarios. Critical Examination • This is all about asking “what’s not working here” and being able to answer truthfully and authentically.
