Burgundy is land rich in viticulture history where some of the most famous (and most expensive) producers in the world call the terrior home. With maybe one of the most confusing village/label hiearchies out there, we will have plenty to talk about. We will explore what makes this area benchmark for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, plus one of the hippest wines on the planet - Beaujolais (we can discuss the debate of letting this region be included in Burgundy during the class).
