McKinney Oktoberfest is a family favorite, offering authentic German music, food and drink, traditional costumes, dancing, children’s activities and much more. Available Add-on Tickets and Packages: Beard & Mustache Competiton Friday, September 23rd at 8 p.m. Free Event Limited to first 10 to register.  What better way to celebrate McKinney Oktoberfest than with a family-friendly facial competition. The 3rd annual McKinney Oktoberfest Beard and Mustache Competition will crown one lucky man the official beard/stache of McKinney. The competition is sponsored by **** and the lucky winner will take home a **** and the manliest title one could ask for, Best Beard.  Hofbrau "Musskrugstemmen" Stein Holding Competition  Saturday, Sept. 24th from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. $25 - Includes official Hofbrau stein and beer Try your hand — and arm — at a game called Masskrugstemmen, or “beer stein holding.”Masskrugstemmen is not a drinking game; it’s a test of strength and endurance. And it sounds easier than it is. The object is to hold the official Hofbrau glass stein filled with one liter of beer (33 ounces) with your arm extended out in front of you and parallel to the floor.  15th Annual Weenie Dog Races Saturday, Sept. 24th at 11:30 a.m. (Check-in 10 - 11 a.m.) 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. - Weenie Dog Races 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. - Wannabe Dog Races Free Registration - Donations to a local dog charity will be available on site.  Over 70 Weenie Dogs and Wannabes (All Other Breeds) meet at McKinney Oktoberfest to see who will be the top dog. The fastest Weenie will receive a prize package from The Canine Cookie Company and The Mutt Puddle and the Grand Champion trophy.  Meet the Brewmaster Sessions Learn more about the craft beer served at McKinney Oktoberfest! The free Brewmaster sessions are held on W. Louisianna St. at the Bavarian Experience Stage. Must be 21 to attend.  (TUPPS Brewery) Saturday, Sept 24th at 4 p.m. TUPPS Brat Eating Competition Sunday, Sept. 25th from 3-4 p.m. Free Event Limited to first 10 to register.  Brat eating competition to see who can eat the most "naked" brats in 8 minutes and will be crowned Grand Champion of the 4th Annual TUPPS Brat Eating Contest.
