Each year NAACP branches nationwide publicly recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses that strive to make our society better. On Saturday, October 8, 2022, we will host our 2022 Freedom Fund Award Dinner. This year's the is "Push for Freedom". The event will be held at the Standard , 214 E. State St. Rockford, IL 61104 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Our keynote speaker for the event is the first Black elected President of the Illinois Association of Police Chiefs, Mitchell R. Davis. We ask your support in this event by becoming a financial sponsor by donating a raffle item, placing an ad in the program, or nominating an organization or person for one of the awards.
