17 September, 2022

Description

Come find fall warblers and test your ID skills with the Rosiers! By mid-September, this migratory hotspot should be bursting with warblers and fall migrants. Tennessee, Black-and-white, Bay-breasted, Blackburnian, Chestnut-sided, and Black-throated Blue Warblers are all possibilities. While warblers will be our main targets, we'll likely pick up some other fall migrants as well! Registered participants will meet at the Eagle Creek Ornithology Center at 8am Eastern. Terrain will be easy to moderate. Beginners and advanced birders welcome. Participants must pre-register, as trips fill up fast. Eagle Creek Park has entrance fees, but annual passes are available for those that visit frequently. The field trip will be led by IAS members and guides, Tina and Eric Rosier. All participants must read and agree to the IAS Field Trip Release to participate in IAS led events and trips. Field trips are free for IAS- Members and $10 for non-members. -- Cover photo: Blackpoll Warbler by Ryan Sanderson
