My mother April was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in August of 2020. She underwent chemotherapy until the tumors were located and she was able to have them surgically removed. For 3, short lived months, my mother was happy and cancer free. Then she was hit with the news that her father also had stage 4 cancer. His was pancreatic and we did not catch it in time. My grandfather passed away 6 weeks later on his birthday July 1st, 2021. This was extremely hard on my mother but she took things like a warrior, as she always does. Unfortunately only a few months later we would be getting her monthly check ups done when she was hit with another blow. The cancer is back and she will need to undergo another years worth of chemotherapy. We are throwing this benefit to show her she is not alone in this fight and she has a bunch of warriors and support going into this 2nd battle! Please join us as we ROCK CANCERS BUTT!
