On August 6, 2022 (also known as The First Saturday in August), we will celebrate our 51st occasion of the Chicago Back to School “Beach Party” Cookout. The Morehouse College and Spelman College Alumni Association Chapters of Chicago invite all SpelHouse Alumni, current students, and incoming Freshmen to join us on a private section of Rainbow Beach to celebrate scholarship and achievement. This year, we wanted to revisit the traditional site where SpelHouse Chicagoans have gathered for decades prior to heading to the AUC. We will gather to celebrate the newest Freshman Class will begin promptly at 2:00 PM.
