Join Vermont Huts Association and the Velomont Trail Collective as we toast to our joint venture at the first annual Barn Party at the VYCC West Monitor Barn in Richmond, VT. Since 2016, Vermont Huts Association has worked to provide enriching and immersive outdoor experiences for everyone through the construction of safe, affordable and accessible backcountry huts. Now, VHA and Velomont Trail Collective (VTC) are working to construct 30 new huts and connect an expansive 485-mile trail network of new and existing mountain biking trails across Vermont, creating a continuous trail from Massachusetts to Canada across National Forest, State, and private lands, all while conserving up to 214,000 acres of land for generations through sustainable recreation. When complete, it will be the largest hut-supported trail system in the US, linking 27 Vermont communities. Now that is something to celebrate!
