Get to know and appreciate your neighborhood birds on this walk in downtown Pittsfield’s beautiful Springside Park. We will learn about the adaptations of certain bird species to urban environments and basic tips on bird watching and identification. This program will also introduce you to a new community science opportunity BNRC is launching, Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Celebrate Urban Birds (CUBs).
People new to birding are welcome at this event, as well as young people ages 12 and up.
This event was made possible through our partnership with the City of Pittsfield.
