If you love florals, this sip-and-craft class is for you! We've brought in Lead Florist Ashton (The Spotted Poppy) to teach us the basics of Ikebana, the Japanese art of floral design. She'll provide everything we need to create an elegant arrangement to bring home, and she’ll break down the process in beginner-friendly steps. We are honored to announce that we will be joined by special guest Wataru Hosokawa from Japan's Amabuki Sake Brewery! Amabuki is renowned for using floral yeasts to brew their sake. We will be pouring three of their premium sakes to enjoy throughout the floral workshop. We hope you'll join us for an evening of Japanese Florals! SCHEDULE 6-6:30pm: Arrive prior to 6:30pm to have your first taste of Amabuki's appealing, aromatic sake. Bento Picnic will be available to take food orders at this time. 6:30-7:30pm: We'll start the Ikebana workshop promptly at 6:30pm, and we'll punctuate the design class with pours of sake. 7:30-8pm: Workshop participants will be treated to a special discounted rate on sake bottles.
