Description

With development pressures mounting throughout the historic Fayetteville Street Corridor, it will be critical to preserve our entrepreneurial legacy and advocate for scaled neighborhood-friendly development that won't destabilize our local economy. One critical question is how growth will impact our neighborhoods, streets and environment with millions of square feet of development planned in the near future. Projects include Heritage Square redevelopment, Fayette Place and Southside Phase III. You're invited to hear Marvin Williams, Director of the City of Durham's Public Works Department, to share information about the Public Works Department and how the City of Durham will provide the infrastructure to support the new growth and the impact on our neighborhoods, streets and environment.
