Assalamu alaikum, The CI Academy Board of Education (BOE) is hoping your summer has been a great one inshallah. We are happy to inform you that the BOE has hired a highly-qualified principal to lead the academy to further success inshallah! Dr. D’Andrea Heggs is an experienced educator and trained leader. While our sister was finishing her doctorate at University of Memphis, she volunteered, helped lead, and supported a Tennessee Muslim organization as well. We see a new beginning and our vision is to grow this community institution and make our Academy into a Muslim learning-hub where the best talent leads and instructs our students to shape them into the leaders & scholars of American-Muslims.
