Have you ever wanted to learn to shoot a rifle but didn’t know where to start, or didn’t have anyone to teach you ? Or maybe you just need to improve your skills and learn more about your rifle. Now is your chance for both!Rifle Ready is rifle instruction for women, by women. Our class is geared towards building self-reliance and confidence, keeping you in the field, increasing your odds of success, and ensuring your safety and the safety of others.Our time on the range will include in-depth, hands-on instruction on Rifle Handling, Ammunition, Sighting in your Rifle, Rifle Cleaning and Care, Hunting Licenses and Regulations, Ethics, and Conservation. Join us on Tuesday, October 4th, to establish or expand your rifle handling - increasing your odds for a fun, successful hunting season.Space is LIMITED - register TODAY and we'll see you at the range!Tuesday, October 4th, 5:30 pm - 9 pm Registration is $98* and includes range access with 3.5 hours of hands on instruction on these topics:Session 1: Rifle Handling + Lead-Free Ammunition Session 2: Sighting in your Rifle + Rifle Cleaning Session 3: Ethical Range - guided shooting practiceEquipment:Participants are encouraged to bring their own rifles, ammunition, eye and ear protection or reserve ours by adding on the equipment fee.Equipment fee is $45 - includes eye and ear protection, rifle use, ammunition, cleaning supplies and targets. Location:Class will take place in East Missoula, MT at the Western Montana Fish & Game Association Deer Creek Shooting Center. WMFGA is a membership based organization that privately owns and operates the Deer Creek Shooting Center. One of the most well developed outdoor shooting facilities in the Northwest. A safety orientation video is required for access to this facility.* Scholarships are available thanks to the women who support engaging more women in our hunting community.
