Joe Clarke, a Charleston native, has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years. Clarke and and his A-list trio will perform timeless classics composed by the fascinating Broadway and Hollywood composer, Cole Porter. You'll recognize familiar hits from stage and screen as Clarke croons "Anything Goes," "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Something To Me," and more! Both a composer and a lyricist, Cole Porter began playing piano at age 8, and co-wrote his first operetta at age 10 with his mother. He went on to study at both Yale and Harvard while continuing to write music. It is said that he wrote over 300 songs while at Yale. His famous tunes and lyrics are found in famed scores such as "Kiss Me Kate" and "Anything Goes." Many of Porter's songs have become jazz standards, known and loved by many around the world.
