OUTDOOR: We can learn which animals have visited an area even if we don’t see them by learning how to identify their tracks and scat. Their homes, whether it’s a nest or a burrow can tell us a lot too. Join us at Lyonia Preserve’s pavilion to view some scat replicas and track models. We’ll take a short walk in the preserve to see if we can spot evidence of animal activity. Participants should wear closed toed shoes, bring water, and be prepared to hike on unpaved sugar sand trails.
