Please join Old Dominick and our charitable arm, Glass Half Full, along with Clean Memphis and Downtown Memphis Commission for an afternoon of service and sips. On Thursday, August 11th, from 3-5pm we will meet at Old Dominick Distillery (305 S. Front St., 38103), divide into teams, and set out to beautify our community by cleaning up some areas of much-needed attention. Once we have done our due diligence of service we will meet up back at Old Dominick Distillery for some tasty bites and cold beverages. Each registered volunteer will receive 1 free drink ticket courtesy of Downtown Memphis Commission. We will have snacks provided Feast & Graze while it lasts. After your free drink, our Bar will be open and offering Happy Hour drink specials until 7pm so stay a while and sip with us! A portion of the drink sales will go directly to our Glass Half Full Charitable Fund. Tickets are limited so register today! We also have a donation ticket option if you would like to help generate some funds with us. Our partners at Clean Memphis will be providing the equipment needed for clean-up : gloves, high-visibility vests, trash bags, trash grabbers, etc. Clean Memphis is also providing water, sunscreen, and bug spray. If you have a brand preference, please be sure to bring your own. Over the past two years, litter in Memphis has grown by more than 200%. That means even more trash and pollutants are in our water systems, on our streets, and in our communities. Since we will be out during a warmer time of the day, we ask that you please keep yourself in mind in regards to heat and your health. We want this to be a fun service event, but do not want anyone overexerting themselves. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes early so we can get you checked in. You will need to bring your state-issued identification for age verification. Parking is limited at the Distillery so please give yourself adequate time to park and walk to the Distillery. There is no ticket fee to participate, however, we are raising funds for the Old Dominick Glass Half Full Charitable Fund, so please consider donating at check-out.
