In order to win cases, we need not only to capture jurors' attention with a good story. We must also motivate jurors to act on our client's behalf by giving us the verdict we need.
Neuroscience tells us that humans use the structure of story to organize and process the millions of bits of information that come at us each second. We'll use the science and art of storytelling to help you structure your opening statement in a way that motivates and persuades jurors to help your client.
This program will feature teaching from Keeley Blanchard, Trial Lawyer and Master Storytelling Coach for Law Story, and Casey Donahue, Master Storytelling Instructor for Say It Like You who also spend many years coaching storytelling at The Moth.
This program is limited to six registrants, and is limited to lawyers practicing civil plaintiffs' work or criminal defense. The registration fee is nonrefundable.
This program will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 through Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 9am to 5pm each day.
Registration includes a continental breakfast and lunch each day, 3-day hotel stay, and the program fee.
