Little Detroit Community Garden will participate in Arise Detroit Neighborhood Day on August 6th. We will have raffles, outdoor games /activities, resource tables, storytelling, art, and lunch. Join us for some family fun as we showcase our community vegetable garden, Rain garden, and Community gazebo. The Little Detroit Community Garden is a neighborhood-based garden that provides families with an opportunity to grow their own food while promoting community engagement and beautification. The goal of Little Detroit Community Garden is to create a space where families can come together to learn about gardening, healthy eating, and sustainability. Arise Detroit Neighborhood Day is the perfect opportunity for us to showcase all that the Little Detroit Community Garden has to offer! We hope to see you there! Giftbag Item Request We are requesting 100 items for gift bag donations. We plan to give the first 100 neighbors who register in person a gift bag. Items can be a business card or a sample of your product. We will post several photos of the gift bag items on our Facebook page.
