Location: Chicagoland Area, IL Division: Roadrunner Services RR-ILCHG-FTTOWTRUCKDRIVER #186S Job Scope: Operate a Rollback or Tow Truck in a safe manner loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles to and from auction sites and customer premises. Job Responsibilities: Operate Rollback or Tow Truck and load and unload in a safe manner in compliance with all applicable company policies Conduct vehicle loading on to Rollback or Tow Truck Complete all required documentation associated with vehicle transport or service Coordinate assistance when a vehicle is inoperable or needs service or gas Assist customers and coworkers as needed Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale day, if necessary Drive vehicles to and from auto auctions and dealerships, repo yards, and other holding facilities Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed including inflating tires or jump-starting vehicles using a battery box and air tank if necessary Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: Must have F endorsement 2+ Years’ Experience in Rollback or Tow Truck Operation Experience with Transporting vehicles preferred Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required Successful completion of a background check and drug test Successful completion of driving skills test with loading and unloading Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
