The North American Grappling Association will be hosting the 2022 NAGA Columbus Grappling Championships on Saturday, July 30, 2022. We are looking to fill various Event Staff positions. Anyone interested in working, please review the information below and can contact us at the information provided. LOCATION: Big Run Athletic Center 4205 Clime Rd, Columbus, OH 43228 DATE/TIME: Friday, July 29, 2022: SETUP Available from 2:00-7:00pm (Set-up) Saturday, July 30, 2022: EVENT DAY Available from 7:30AM- Conclusion (Usually done by between 6:00 – 8:00pm) POSITIONS: (2-3 Positions). - Applicants will be notified via phone & E-mail. Posting will close upon filling of positions. PAY: $15/HR – Paid at conclusion of event via check. (10-15 hrs) LUNCH: We will provide lunch, snacks & water on Saturday ATTIRE: Comfortable work clothes (Shorts, sneakers, etc.) We will provide a Staff T-Shirt for Saturday. JOB DESCRIPTION(S): Various positions including, but not limited to the following: Positions will be determined day of event. Training is provided for all positions. All positions assist in Setup & Breakdown of Event at beginning & conclusion of Tournament. Some lite-to-medium lifting (Less than 50lbs) ONLY INTERESTED PARTIES PLEASE APPLY! 1. Ring Coordinators: (Score Keeping & Bracketing- Training Provided). 2. Security: Front Door (Ticket Checking). 3. Weigh-In: (Weigh Competitors). 4. Awards- Assist in awarding competitors. MIN REQUIREMENT: 1) Must be available for the entire event. 2) Must provide name & contact information in advance. 3) Must arrive by stated time. 4) Must be able to perform any of the job functions as stated above. 5) Must be motivated.6) Must have reliable transportation
