People are different in fundamental ways. They have different needs, wants, motives, joys, values, perceptions, strengths, weaknesses, and stressors the name just a few. Nothing is more fundamental than that. They perceive, feel, think, believe, comprehend, and process differently. The goal of this training is to equip participants with information and knowledge that will enable them to have a greater understanding and appreciation of self and others. Learn more about stress! What we stress about, why we stress? Spectrum Awareness focuses on: Identifying own full color spectrum, understanding the needs and motivators of self and others, recognizing the joys, values, and stressors of self and others, recognizing the strengths and challenges of self and others, appreciating the uniqueness of self and others. (Spectrum is the personality not Autism) Learn some of the things that seperate mental health and personality. Learn more about your clients or the people you work with. This training is targeted for Mental Health Professionals, social workers, case managers and any other related field to extend their knowledge on personality and improve their services to families and individuals in counseling, social work or case management but not limited to. Anyone interested is welcome. 6 CEU’s have been approved from the Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health for LPC, LMFT, LSW. This training is interactive and will also include information on working with children in the counseling field. Each participant will recieve materials to use at work or home and a workbook.
