This year's SNMA Region V Medical Education Conference, hosted by Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine will take place September 30 –October 2, 2022. RMEC is a two-day immersive experience, for SNMA and MAPS members in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, with dynamic Medical Student and Pre-Medical Student tracks carefully designed to provide academic enrichment, clinical experience, and leadership development to all attendees. This year’s conference theme, “It's Crunch Time! Sustaining Momentum While Under Pressure” will feature exciting leadership workshops, engaging breakout sessions, a 2 day residency exhibitor fair, and research forum for an opportunity to present your work. Our goal for the conference is to actively carry out our mission of supporting current and future underrepresented minority medical students, address the needs of underserved communities, and increase the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent and socially conscious physicians.
