The students of Natyabhoomi will present a Bharathanatyam Dance Drama Production of Rukmini Kalyanam, the story of the wedding of Lord Krishna and his wife Rukmini. Every summer, Deepti Mukund Navile, Founder and Artistic director of Natyabhoomi gets her students together and creates a new production. The process culminates in a public performance of the production where the ticket sales benefit a charitable organization. Natyabhoomi works with the unconditional support of Aruna Sharma for the fundraisers. This production of Rukmini Kalyanam on August 20th 2022 is a fundraiser for Support A Child (VHPA).
