ALL BAY DIESEL is accepting resumes for Diesel Mechanic We are a small, family owned, mobile diesel repair and maintenance company looking to expand and broaden our availability of services currently offered. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and solid attention to detail. Job Description: All positions are 40 hour per week full time positions with the opportunity for overtime. We are available to our customers on an on-call basis so weekend and evening availability is a must. Journeyman positions are responsible for: Diagnostics: conducting visual, auditory and operational inspection of vehicles and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems for repair, identify problem causes, research problems using repair manuals, schematics, OEM’s, service bulletins and other mechanics as needed. Repair/Rebuild vehicles and components: use hand and power tools to disassemble, access and reassemble equipment or components; remove and replace broken or worn parts (ie cylinders, brakes and gaskets); perform tune-ups and electrical repairs. Maintenance: perform preventative maintenance and inspections required on all types of vehicles and equipment. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record. Experience working at a Journey-Level Mechanic with light/medium and/or heavy duty equipment services and repair. Ability to work in all types of weather Ability to drive safely in all weather Ability to work flexible schedules, extended hours, nights, weekends and/or overtime. Ability to participate in and complete employer paid training courses/education Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 75 pounds Desired: Own tools and tool box Class A Driver’s License Minimum 1 year experience with heavy duty diesel equipment/vehicles Experience with vehicle electrical systems Experience with welding and fabricating Please email resume with references.'
