Make some laser cut house plant decor and investigate some tools for prototyping your ideas Join us for an introduction to using lasers to draw designs and cut shapes while advancing your skills in making multiples. Create an image and learn about easy workflows for subtractive manufacturing. While we’re waiting for the machine to cut your first masterpiece in wooden (or acrylic) plant decor, we'll take a look around at some of the options The Foundry has to offer community members.
You’ll learn: What materials are appropriate to cut and etch using a laser. How hand drawn designs can become etch files. How to use software to create cut files
Materials supplied by The Foundry: Selection of light-weight woods and colored plastic sheets
Class Cost: $40 (materials fee included)
Class Size: Min 4/ Max 8 Ages: 18+
Class Length: A 2.5 hour class session
