SCOPE OF WORK: The General Labor/Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance and repair work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting tasks that are within the technicians capabilities. RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE: • Troubleshooting property needs • Physically examine the property on a regular basis throughout shift • Managing repairs and maintenance with vendors, and ensuring the proper care of the property • Maintain pool area, landscaping (includes some weeding, general landscape manicuring as needed), utilities, sidewalks/parking lot, signage, garbage cans, enclosed patios (power wash as needed), harbor area (garbage pick up, power wash as needed) • Generally maintaining and improve the quality of the public areas in a clean and safe fashion • Supervise and help coordinate outside contractors working on the Property • Assist guests with launching their boat (opening locked gate at launch, directing trailer parking, directing guest to reserved dockage space, instructing on proper use of our channel) **You will not be operating boats, backing up trailers, or parking trailers. All assistance is through verbal instructions and other helpful tasks that do not include operating a guests boat or vehicle** CAPABILITIES: • Treats everyone with respect, compassion, and kindness – Builds internal respect and loyalty with guests and other team members.
