This workshop is specifically designed for businesses with less than 20 employees. We will discuss state, federal laws that they must adhere to; HR best practices and policies regarding recruiting, hiring, record keeping, counseling and corrective action and termination—the entire employment life cycle. We will also have exercises to help people become more comfortable with HR practices. Owners and managers will come away with a clear understanding of how to operate legally and ethically; and how to recognize issues/situations that require outside expert help!
