Job description We are a retail store, rental location, and service center that helps people with products like walkers, wheelchairs, scooters, and other mobility devices for seniors and individuals with disabilities. We are looking for a team member to join our group to help in our Rental Department with turning over rentals that come back so they can go back out to new rental customer. Primarily cleaning and sanitizing our machines (we will train you!). Additionally, we need help with scheduled deliveries (both pick-ups and drop-offs) of our products to customers around us so a valid and clean driving record is a must - we supply the van. We will teach you EVERYTHING with paid training! If you want to learn a new industry (and get paid to do it) we're interested too! Responsibilities: - Cleaning and sanitizing our rental machines as they come back from rental customers. - Inspecting and "tightening up" anything that came loose or maybe broke. You're the first step to preventing loss and making sure our machines are perfect. - Unbox and assemble new machines as needed. They may be added to the fleet or may be sold to a new customer but this person needs to unbox and assemble the machines to make sure they're great (will train!) - Delivery of our rentals is super common so being able to operate a motor vehicle on a clean driving record is a must. You may go out solo or with a teammate to do deliveries and pickups - depends on what we're getting that day! - Keeping our vans and back room looking gorgeous with organization, cleaning, and general attention to machines that might need some extra love. Skills - Use of email, calendars, and comfort in learning something new. - Patience and clear communication are important. - Ability to perform in fast-paced environments when it gets busy, but when we're slow we trust our team members to take the initiative to maximize their time. We are a team that genuinely likes working together so we hope to find someone that wants to be part of a team! This is ideally a full-time position but would consider part-time for the right person.
