Looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our small team! The Maintenance Supervisor is in charge in the upkeep and repairs of the physical conditions of the building and grounds. Who can work independently, must be dependable and reliable. Has good listening and communication skills. Specific Responsibilities: 1) Responsible for the timely completion of all assigned service requests within 72 hours. 2) Ensure OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times. 3) Report unusual and other circumstances regarding the property and residents. 4) Responsible in maintaining a clean work areas including maintenance office, supplies room, and other storage rooms. 5) Keeping and updating an inventory lists of property tools and maintenance supplies. 6) Responsible for all aspects of maintenance, but not limited to: - Installation and repair of appliances - Plumbing - Electrical - Carpentry - All aspects of A/C and heating - Snow removal - On Call Emergencies 7) Responsible for turnaround units and get it ready for rental. 8) Responsible for the inventory, ordering and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for contract work with vendors to do repairs and vacant units. 9) Maintain MSDS sheets as well as replacement logs. 10) Take the initiative to improve the processes and maintenance methods including seeking ways to enhance property appearance. 11) Schedule and assist in the supervision and selection of all vendors work. 12) Work very closely with the Manager on purchasing of all maintenance supplies. 13) Must wear a back support belt while on duty. Goggles must be worn when handling any type of chemicals. 14) Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. 15) Any other duties within company policy and requested by the Manager. 16) EPA certified and any other certifications are desired. 17) MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS. Have a valid driver's license, a reliable transportation and car insurance. Pre-employment drug test and background screening are required. Base starting salary is $22 up to $27 an hour depending on experience and with licenses. Hours are Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
