Get a deeper look into the world of mushrooms. Join local mushroom enthusiast Alyssa Pittera for a mushroom foray. We will begin with a brief introduction on mushrooms and mushroom identification. Then we will take a walk around the property to collect specimens. Alyssa will review our findings: identifying them and telling us more about them. You may wish to bring in samples that you have gathered in your yard. ​Alyssa Pittera of Buxton, ME has been working with medicinal and edible mushrooms since 2017, when her plant obsession expanded to the fungi world. She has attended dozens of classes and is always studying on her own time. Her herbal skin and bodycare business is infused with these passions, featuring a range of plant and mushroom medicines.
