Back the Blue Benefit Supporting Sgt. John Hamm

On May 22, 2022, John was working Jeep weekend on Bolivar with GCSO while taking care of a minor accident was struck by another driver going about 50 miles an hour. He was flown to UTMB Galveston and underwent multiple surgeries to repair both broken legs, three deep lacerations to his face and head, lacerations to his left arm, and a broken shoulder. He has since been moved to a rehabilitation center and has a long road to recovery. A Back the Blue, Benefit Fundraiser will be held on September 17th, 2022, from noon to 4 pm. The event will be held on the Good Ole Days Grounds in John’s hometown, Hitchcock, Texas. All proceeds from the benefit will go to the Hamm family to help with medical and rehabilitation costs, and special equipment costs. We are truly blessed to still have John on this earth with us.
