NOW HIRING - NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED - WILL TRAIN Swimming Pool Service Technician Compensation: Up to $25/hr. depending on experience. If no experience, $18/hr. to start and we will train you. Are you a mature person looking to work PART-TIME on a LONG TERM basis? Do you enjoy being outdoor and working alone? The job is approximately 24 hours a week. Approximately 3 eight-hour days, or 4 six-hour days every week, Monday through Friday (eventually more if you want more hours). 2 weeks PAID VACATION a year (during the off-season of fall and winter). You will be working by yourself and have flexibility and independence. If you care about your work and do your job well, you will be appreciated not only by our customers but by your employer also. We are happy to give bonuses to our employees who do their jobs well. This job is unlike most pool service technician jobs. We have no FULL SERVICE pools to clean weekly. It doesn't matter if it's windy and the pools are messy. All of our customers are CHEMICAL ONLY and CHEMICAL PLUS accounts. Although there may be times (rarely) you may be asked to do a one-time cleanup. If you like cleaning messy pools every week, this job is not for you. Duties include; -Weekly testing and balancing water with chemicals. -Monitoring equipment and basic repairs. -You will also need to clean single cartridge filters as needed. -We offer to pay you extra to clean multi-cartridge filter systems twice a year. -Programming schedules and diagnosing pool sweep and pump issues. Knowledge associated with basic repairs is not required but is a plus. Use mobile app to log in notes at each pool. Drive a company-provided vehicle on a pre-determined daily route (days are flexible). Provide exceptional customer service if and when customer comes outside to ask questions, or even just to chat (briefly). Maintain vehicle and equipment by daily inspecting equipment and vehicle each day. Follow established processes and procedures while maintaining safety. If you do your job YOU WILL BE TREATED WELL. BEING RELIABLE is probably the most important quality you must have. We cannot have someone who misses work unless you have a very good excuse. Even if you have good excuses and miss too many days, we will not be able to keep you on. You must be MECHANICALLY INCLINED. You must be able to lift 50 pounds. You must be dog friendly. Must be 21 years old or older. Must have a valid Driver's License in the State of California. Clean driving record (you will be required to provide a clean DMV record). Ability to pass a background check and drug test. The person that fills this position should also have an attention to detail, be customer service oriented and possess strong communication skills (speaks clear English). You must also be quick to respond if we text or call you. The job isn't hard at all but you must like working outdoor, hot or cold, rain or shine. You'll work by yourself (it's a lot of freedom and flexibility for a dependable person). Starting pay if you have no experience is $18 an hour and increases as you prove you can do your job and are reliable. We want to pay you more but you must prove yourself first. Eventually you can make up to $25 an hour (even more depending on your skills)
