Description

This workshop will demonstrate and teach various stone tool-making techniques including percussion and pressure flaking, making "arrow heads", and will discuss the history of hunting technologies used for thousands of years in prehistoric California. Class Notes: All equipment provided. Come prepared with clothing to spend a day in the outdoors (wear long pants and closed-toed shoes, no sandals or flip flops), pack a lunch, snack, and water.
