Social Media Assistant for Integrative Pharmacy – Part-Time

We’re looking for a bright, friendly person with a strong interest in nutrition and healthy living, and expertise with TikTok, to work 5 hours per week as a social media assistant for our integrative pharmacy. At Village Green Apothecary, we believe that America's healthcare system is broken, and we want to help fix it with our unique approach to health – the best of traditional pharmaceuticals, alternative remedies, and state-of-the-art knowledge. We actively bring individualized healthcare to our customers, creating healthier lifestyles and promoting preventative options. This position involves working with our nutrition specialists in-store to create short videos to engage and educate our customers and others about nutritional supplements and other healthy living products. You would then post these videos to TikTok (and possibly other social media platforms), monitor responses and interactions, as well as follow trending health and nutrition topics for future use. Candidates should have: - Knowledge of social media platforms - Interest and ability to research and follow trending health topics on TikTok (and enough knowledge of health and nutrition to be able to differentiate between legitimate health care topics and scams that have proliferated on TikTok) - Experience creating short, professional-looking videos for TikTok and other social media platforms - Ability to do basic editing of short videos - Good eye for design and set-up of effective videos - Ability to advise our nutrition specialists on most effective delivery (as needed) - Good organizational skills and be detail-oriented To apply: If you are interested in this opportunity, SEND A COVER LETTER WITH YOUR RESUME and in your cover letter, please answer the following 3 questions, in order to be considered: 1.
